The Emergente Festival is a festival dedicated to independent emerging music with the aim of supporting the talent of the newest generation of Portuguese musicians, opening a window of visibility and confidence in their future.
Its third edition takes place on the 15th and 16th of October, at Cine Teatro Capitólio. 11 of the 18 bands on the poster were selected through an Open Call of the Super Emerging contest. The other 7 were directly invited by the organization, mixing a greater experience with the irreverence of emerging sonorities.
This year we also present 14 videoclips selected from the Super Emergentes Open Call for videoclips. In the end, 4 prizes will be awarded: Best Super Emerging Concert - performance at Rodellus Festival in 2022; Best Super Emerging Musical Project - recording of an album or EP at Camaleão studios in Lisbon; Best Videoclip and Best Art Direction, both worth €500.
