Now in its 11th edition, it remains faithful to its original format: a mixed relay race for teams of three runners.

The event takes place on a closed 2.5km circuit within the historic grounds of the former headquarters of the Armed Forces Movement, housed at the Regimento de Engenharia No.1 in Pontinha, the nerve centre of the military operations of the 25th April 1974 revolution.

True to the spirit of the race, the finish is a sweet one: with Bolo-Rei served to share and celebrate.
