Fado in Setúbal

In August, the summer nights are filled with Fado, which takes to the streets and delights passersby with free concerts.

Quinta do Bom Pastor, in Vila Fresca de Azeitão, and Gâmbia will be the first venues to host this phenomenon, on 2 and 3 August.

On 9 August, fado comes to Largo da União Desportiva do Casal das Figueiras, and on 10 August it will be at Largo 2 de Setembro.

On 16 August, the “song” of Lisboa will be at Vale Ana Gomes, and on 17 August at Parque de Vendas de Azeitão.

On the last weekend of the month, concerts will take place at Vanicelos and Jardim de Palhais.

Among the different artists gracing the improvised stages, Fado singer Carolina Mendes and Ramiro Costa will be regular performers, as well as Vítor Pereira on Fado viola.
