French Film Festival

Lisboa once again hosts the French Film Festival, a great cinema celebration.

The French Film Festival returns to Lisboa's movie theatres with a schedule continuing throughout the month of November. The programme invites the audience to see unreleased previews and films which are given a new opportunity of being shown on the big screen.

It also includes a programme for children and youth, which makes this festival an event for the whole family.

One of the novelties in this edition is the section dedicated to gastronomy and meetings with filmmakers.

In November, the schedule continues at Cinemateca Portuguesa with a cycle honouring filmmaker Louis Malle.

The French Film Festival is also part of the Portugal-France Season 2022, in a celebration of the historical bonds of friendship which unite the two countries.
