Fado once had its own dance. In Lisboa, the most popular dance for this musical style was the Fado Batido, based on an energetic and virtuoso tap dance.
Jonas & Lander aim to reinterpret and recover this tradition, in which dance and percussion instruments enter into a dialogue with the voice and guitars.
As a result, Bate Fado is a hybrid show that combines dance and music.
The performance will involve four dancers, four musicians and on dancing fado singer.
