Iminente Festival

Both physical and virtual, the program includes workshops, talks, concerts and a public art park.

In 2020 the Iminente Festival will be a combination of physical and Virtual moments!
With closed spaces, limited hours and measures that have to be followed, we had to adapt. But we know that necessity is the mother of invention, and it was under this motto that we created a special program, with in-person access for some, but open to all.

A space of creativity, openness, exchange of ideas, communion, expression and creation. A moment that will live far beyond the time it occupies, a journey through different territories of artistic experimentation: this is the Imminent Workshop.

Curated by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils and the Underdogs platform, and co-organized with the Lisbon City Council, we invited a group of artists from various fields to create and streamline a series of activities and actions. The space of choice is once again Panorâmico de Monsanto, an emblematic building in the city that is already part of our DNA.

The program includes workshops, talks, concerts and a public art park, which will be a permanent landmark of this space. As we had to reduce the capacity, only workshop participants will be able to access the program in person.

Talks and concerts will be broadcast via our website and the public art park can be visited for free when the Panorântico de Monsanto opens its doors to the public again.

With a unique mix of artists, performers, musicians, activists, researchers and authors, this new model offers an experience of closeness and intimacy, addressing urgent and contemporary themes. A true experience of creativity and exploration of the unlimited capacity for imagination of the human being. Join us, Panoramico or at home, and do not miss the opportunity to be part of this new stage.

It is not a festival, but it remains imminent!
