The 6th edition of the Mediterranean Masters Weightlifting International Open Tournament 2026 will take place from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at the Fundação INATEL Sports Pavilion, located at Parque de Jogos 1.º de Maio, Rua Rio de Janeiro, in Alvalade, Lisbon.

This international weightlifting competition is aimed at Masters athletes aged over 30 and promotes sport, inclusion, and camaraderie among athletes from different countries.

Organised by the National Weightlifting Federation, in partnership with the International Masters Weightlifting Association, the event will bring together approximately 300 athletes from 41 countries, establishing itself as the largest international Masters weightlifting competition ever held in Portugal.

For four days, Lisbon will host this major sporting event, celebrating sport and demonstrating that weightlifting is a sport for all ages.
