To mark the date on which the festival would be taking place, and starting the countdown for its 9th edition (rescheduled for June 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2021), Rock in Rio Lisboa presents “If Life Begins Now ”- a special 180-minute broadcast, broadcast live on June 27.

The full transmission can be followed from 17:00 on Rock in Rio Lisboa social networks (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube), on the festival website (hosted on the SAPO Portal at rockinriolisboa.sapo.pt) and on SIC's social networks, the television broadcast at 6:30 pm at SIC Radical and also counting on several interventions by RFM, Rádio Renascença and MegaHits throughout these three hours.

The program will revisit these 16 years of history, peculiar episodes, backstage scenes, and there is also room to look to the future - especially for 2021.

Music, as expected, will not be lacking either. During the 180 minutes of this special broadcast, there will be live performances by Portuguese artists who have already visited the City of Rock, as well as an unbeatable playlist that will allow you to remember iconic moments lived on the World Stage through the retransmission of a set of selected themes.

Rock in Rio Lisboa is scheduled for June 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2021, with Foo Fighters, The National and Liam Gallagher already confirmed on the World Stage lineup, on June 19.
