Just a short distance from Lisboa, She's Lost Control takes place - an exhibition of contemporary art by Alexandre Lyra Leite, anchored by a video installation inspired by the eponymous song by Joy Division.

In a time when the image is paramount in every aspect of life, the exhibition curator, João Lopes, points out that: 'if everything is an image, everything happens through screens'.

It is precisely from this premise that Alexandre Lyra Leite invites us to experience 'a journey that simultaneously involves the ambivalences of what images are made of and the figurative power of screens'.
