It is another one of those beautiful love relationships that fuse Portuguese music and public. Super jazz band Snarky Puppy is back in Portugal for two concerts that promise to be unforgettable. On March 22nd and 24th, 2020, the Carlos Pavilion Lopes, in Lisbon and Coliseu do Porto, respectively, received one of the most cherished bands by the Portuguese public in recent years.

They perfectly blend the most classic jazz with the new influences and that is what led them to stick to reaching such diverse audiences. Always ready to do what they like, as shown by the 12 works between 2006 and 2019, they now return to Portugal with the album released this year, Immigrance. In the words of Michael League, the main guy of Snarky Puppy, the new album intends to move: The idea here is that everything is fluid, that everything is always in motion and that we are all in a constant state of immigration.

Composed essentially by the same musicians from Culcha Vulcha, Immigrance is once again a studio work that represents exactly what the band is: people from different places who bring their various strengths and experiences, making the music beautiful and cohesive. The band itself turns out to be a representation of that musical expression.

In addition to themes from the new album, the band also promises a retrospective with some of the best themes in their career.
