Recently, the artist has released ‘Vai / Gash’, an album which he kept in a drawer for over three decades and now presents to the fans.
Written and recorded in a stream of consciousness in 1991, this record was born as an answer to his desire of having a specific kind of music to listen to when he was driving his Harley Davidson.
In the words of Steve Vai, this work is ‘reminiscent of a certain kind of rock music I enjoyed as a teenager’.
