Uma Brancura Luminosa is presented at Teatro Variedades, in Lisbon, from 14 to 25 January 2026, starring Ricardo Pereira and Sandra Barata Belo, who also signs the stage adaptation and direction. The production is based on the homonymous book by Jon Fosse, Nobel Prize in Literature 2023, and is performed entirely in Portuguese.

The story follows a man who drives aimlessly until his car becomes stuck on a forest road and he gets lost in a snow-covered landscape. Alone, he moves through a stream of thoughts and memories in which past, present and future intersect, calling into question what he sees and what is real.

The performance is built on a text that avoids fixed meanings, leaving multiple readings open and allowing the audience to inhabit the experience in their own way.
