On this Sunday morning, Lisbon’s riverside will become a large open-air space, the perfect setting to get moving and enjoy the river.
As part of the Lisboa Ativa initiative, by the people, for the people, and in partnership with the municipalities of Oeiras and Cascais, a 15-kilometre car-free stretch between Alcântara and São Pedro do Estoril will be dedicated entirely to sport, leisure and social activities.
In Lisbon, between Cordoaria Nacional and the Algés Viaduct, you can try a wide range of activities, including team sports, martial arts, walking, running and cycling along the avenue, as well as dance, fitness classes and stage classes. You can also take part in activities focused on health and wellbeing.
