Young Design Generation exhibition

Until 20 September, MUDE hosts the proposals selected by the jury of the 3rd edition of the Young Design Generation competition, an initiative promoted by Lisbon Design Week (LDW) in partnership with the Museum.
 
In this edition, 122 proposals were submitted, spanning various expressions of design and reflecting different understandings of the discipline and the challenges of contemporary society. From these, the jury chose the 20 finalist proposals that make up this exhibition.
 
More than presenting results, this exhibition aims to highlight the creative process inherent in each project. MUDE thus reaffirms its commitment to giving visibility to emerging talent, sharing with the public the perspective of generations now beginning their professional journeys.
 
To contextualize this body of work, the exhibition also reveals the process of organising the competition itself and makes all 122 submitted proposals available for consultation. The aim is to foster an open debate on the multiple issues raised by new designers.
