YEAR 2200, a poetic and apocalyptic vision of Humanity that invites reflection on Freedom and its loss.
A planet full of oxygen capsules that keep human beings alive, locked in their small apartments like fish in an aquarium. An allegory of the political and social impact of an authoritarian system in a world where lockdown has become normalized, the militarization of the State, the end of cultural life, the destruction of all natural habitat, the absence of freedom of expression and movement, extrapolated to the point where human beings are unable to see, hear, smell, taste and lose their voice.
The staging idealizes the fusion of different visual and theatrical techniques. A shadow puppet show with video art projections and an original soundtrack, created from the language of physical theatre and object theatre.
