Every year the Tour of Portugal by bike is an emotion. In the days leading up to the big event, the nervous little ones take hold of the most frantic fans of the sport and the cyclists themselves who can't wait for the moment of the Grand Departure.
The Great Departure of the 83rd Tour of Portugal in Bicycle kicks off from Praça do Império in Lisbon on August 4. Until August 15, the international platoon will cover the 1,559 km of the country, with this year being the great novelty of an incursion into Spain. The final time trial, held between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, will crown the winner of this edition of the largest annual race of the velocipédic calendar.
19 teams from different geographies in the 83rd Tour of Portugal Continente. Each formation can align with a maximum of seven runners. The platoon will consist of about 130 men.
