The feeling of contempt presupposes a relationship of the other's gaze on the despised being - a gaze that makes him invisible, that denies the first gesture of humanity because he does not recognize him as his fellow man, which reduces him to an insignificance and deprives him of existence - or rather, it gives it an indifferent existence.

The auéééu, inspired by the films Le Mépris and Weekend by Jean-Luc Godard, propose to think about this feeling, this lack of consideration for the relationships we cultivate in our lives, the exercise of dominant power, the maintenance of despised beings.
