Contos Baralhados is the premiere cine-concert of 12 micro-films recreated from the recording of 12 micro-stories with original text and musical composition by Sérgio Pelágio for Histórias Magnéticas, a project of musicalized and narrated stories performed live, born in 2009.
Based on this sequence of micro-narratives, the musician invited 7 artists to unfold in images a set of "unbelievable episodes of everyday life", which traverse dreams, thoughts and situations that we normally undervalue but which, if we pay attention to them, reveal a very fun and surprising parallel world, inhabited by flying swimmers, cycle-poets, otolaryngologists and extraterrestrials.
The result is a series of films where diverse imaginaries and languages intersect, such as Super 8 and animation, linked together by Pelágio's guitar and the voice of actress Isabel Gaivão, performed live in this special session, which will last 20 minutes and conclude with an informal conversation between the audience and some of the people who made these films.
