This year TIL - Teatro Infantil de Lisboa (Lisbon’s Children's Theater Company) turns 45 years old and wants to celebrate it with its public, with an extraordinarily simple musical theater play: "Feliz Aniversário” (“Happy Birthday"), an original story by Fernando Gomes, a very well-known Portuguese theatre director.

SYNOPSIS
An unexpected encounter between some characters drawn from other stories, who were invited to a birthday party... But no one knows how, when, or why.

This happy meeting ends up stopping the clock and becomes a magical celebration of friendship. Because it is important to enjoy life's simplest pleasures.
This all sounds... extraordinarily simple!

In this play, the interpretation is accompanied by music, dance, as well as plastic arts and audiovisual, elements that add movement and animation to the project. It will be a time of enchantment and real time suspension that aims to establish a close relationship with the audience, in a shared space for a shared experience.

We propose to remember some important values that this pandemic is testing to the limit: empathy, friendship, companionship, hope and, not to forget, joy of living.
