Crafts in times of COVID - This exhibition - "Valha-nos Santo António", in Portuguese - is the result of a challenge offered to Portuguese artisans in March, the first period of lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This exhibition - "Valha-nos Santo António", in Portuguese - is the result of a challenge offered to Portuguese artisans in March, the first period of lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At that time, the collector Mário Coelho proposed the presentation of the new normal daily life through images of Saint Anthony.

Nine months later, this idea is reflected in more than 60 pieces, with Lisbon’s native saint as the protagonist and the new rules as the backdrop. 

 

From 11th December to March
