The author of iconic pictures like ‘the Afghan girl’, Steve McCurry, is in Lisboa with the exhibition ICONS, a showing with more than 100 large format pictures and which is characterized by being one of the more complete retrospectives of his career.

Widely recognized and honoured with some of the most prestigious awards of the field, including the Robert Capa Gold Medal and the National Press Photographers Award, the photographer captures conflict scenarios, endangered cultures, ancient traditions and contemporary culture.
