MACAM - Museu de Arte Contemporânea Armando Martins celebrates its 1st anniversary on 21 and 22 March 2026, with free entry and extended hours from 10:00 to 20:00.

Highlights include the renewal of the permanent exhibition, featuring the reunification of Almada Negreiros’ panels “Alfaiataria Cunha”.

The programme also includes guided tours, a poetry recital, concerts, and activities for all, such as the itinerant Play Cart - The Word Collector, body painting inspired by the Collection, and the Tree of Wishes. Sunday concludes with a concert by Márcia at 20:00 at à Capela - Live Arts&Bar.

There will also be discounts at the MACAM Shop and special offers at MACAM Hotel. A weekend celebrating visual and performing arts, literature, and the museum’s first year.
