December arrives and the Christmas programme takes over the town: markets, concerts, parties and a full schedule of activities, and everyone is invited to experience Christmas as it should be experienced: where history and nature intersect with the light of the season to create dreamlike settings for the whole family.
And what better place for this than Sintra?

‘Magical Sintra – Once upon a time a magical Christmas’ is a special programme that will take over the town's parks and monuments until 6 January. Expect light shows and video mapping, concerts, traditional markets, carousels, Christmas trains, exhibitions, plays and much (much!) more.
