The great advantage of this initiative, which the Museum of Lisbon - Roman Theatre is carrying out for the third time, is that it allows people to enjoy our history, see ancient remains that have been trapped in the ground and take a closer look at the past.

After the success of the two previous editions, with almost all the visits sold out, the Lisbon Museum - Roman Theatre has once again increased the number of sites joining this initiative and opening its doors on this special occasion, in a unique opportunity to discover 44 spaces with archaeological remains, from Belém to Beato, with some of the sites rarely being visited by the public.

Private houses, car parks, hotels and museums reveal, in a single weekend, what very few people know.

Although free of charge, the more than 100 visits, conducted in Portuguese, are subject to booking via email openhousearqueologia@museudelisboa.pt.
