Solfatara: face to face

Solfatara is a volcano! In this show, the artist takes the viewer into an experience in which they can compare the different erupting faces of the volcano.

Solfatara is a volcano near Naples, Italy.
The name, from Latin, can be seen as a metaphor for the work exhibited by João Jacinto, which refers to the contradiction between the visible and the underlying.

In this show, the artist takes the viewer into an experience in which they can compare the different erupting faces of the volcano. On the one hand, the tumultuous colours and, on the other, the magmatic stratification of its density.
