With more than 300 pieces, the Saint Anthony Procession in Lisboa presents the religious celebration in honour of the capital’s very own saint.
Created by the Baraça Brothers, the work is a representation of the actual cortege, which winds its way through the Alfama neighbourhood, and which is joined by the saints from all the churches it passes.
It is a celebration on the 13th of June that dates back more than 300 years, and which is perpetuated in these pieces created by the family from Barcelos renowned for their clay figurines.
