Victor Neves – Unclear-perspectives
The Cascais Cultural Center receives a selection of drawings by the architect Victor Neves (Lisbon, 1956), gathered in the Unclear-perspectives exhibition.
Between January 29 and April 30, at the Chapel space, located in the main building of the Centro Cultural de Cascais, receives a selection of drawings by the architect Victor Neves (Lisbon, 1956), gathered in the Unclear-perspectives exhibition.
In Unclear-perspectives, Neves intends to provoke the spectator to reflect on what distinguishes the action of seeing and the act of looking.
From his perspective, seeing is a mechanical action of the eye that results from the optical relationship with things and with the world. Looking, however, goes beyond the limits of opticity and presupposes a broadening of experience.
