Inspired by the Lisbon eateries of days gone by, we want to preserve memories and traditions, in a truly elegant setting.

From our kitchen, centre-staged in the middle of the restaurant, emerge such classics as Foie Gras Torchon, Salmon Gravlax and Sole Meunière.

The star of the menu is the irresistible Steak à la Brilhante, a tribute to Steak à la Marrare.

The original recipe is a century-old Lisbon favourite. It was brought here, at the end of the eighteenth century, by the Neapolitan cook António Marrare, who started work in the pantry of a wealthy family home but who then went on to make a name for himself and open several restaurants under the name Café Marrare - one of them in nearby Rua dos Remolares.

Here time runs differently. Enjoy the elegance of a French brasserie, in a treasure trove that is just waiting to be discovered.
