Kyle Eastwood show us Cinematic, bringing great images, historic performances and timeless stories, the music of great soundtracks has the power to call deep emotions that stir our very core.
Film music has a special power: associated with great images, historic performances and timeless stories, the music of great soundtracks has the power to summon deep emotions that stir our very core.
Kyle Eastwood knows this better than anyone: son of the great actor and director Clint Eastwood, Kyle grew up surrounded by film and music.
His father is himself a great jazz lover (and a competent pianist) and so it is not surprising that Kyle has decided to combine these two great arts – music and cinema – in his latest creation, the Cinematic album, in which he arranges for a jazz combo music by composers whose works shone on the big screen – from Michel Legrand to Henry Mancini, from Ennio Morricone and Lalo Schifrin to John Williams, among others, including a piece he himself wrote for a film by his father.
