The Portuguese photojournalist, winner of two World Press Photo awards, Mário Cruz, reveals in “Living among what is left behind” the scenario of human survival among the garbage in the Pasig River, without biological life since 1990, in the Philippines.

For a month, the photographer followed the lives of thousands of families who make their homes and livelihoods from garbage in a place that was once an economic center, but which is now condemned to be the city's sewer.

The exhibition is made up of large-scale photographs and collages and an installation with tons of rubbish that aims to recreate the scene he observed.
