Alice in Wonderland
From December 4th and 19th, the Portuguese Symphonic Orchestra, directed by José Eduardo Gomes, integrates the show by the Companhia Nacional de Bailado, through the interpretation of the powerful partiture by Tchaikovski.
Alice in Wonderland is a work by Lewis Carroll written in 1865, and develops in a logic characteristic of dreams. The author used linguistic resources and mathematical riddles as a form of satire aimed at both people in his relations and society at the time.
It tells the story of Alice, a very curious girl who, chasing a rabbit, falls into its hole, being transported to a fantasy world, inhabited by strange beings and where she lives fantastic adventures.
