Amazonas Market returns on the weekend of November 7 and 8, bringing around 80 creators alongside several workshops. At 8 Marvila.
On November 7 and 8, during Lisbon Art Weekend, Amazonas Market returns to 8 Marvila with its most art-driven edition yet. Around 80 Portuguese and international artists, designers and independent brands present and sell their work directly to visitors: illustration, photography, ceramics, contemporary jewellery, designer fashion and homeware, many of them hard to find anywhere else in the city.
The programme also includes exhibitions, among them Drawing Through, a participatory installation by Margarita Mirori with Stamika Collective where visitors draw each other's portraits, as well as live painting, a jazz concert and DJ sets. There are also 15 creative workshops, from traditional Arraiolos embroidery to cyanotype, watercolour and jewellery-making, a hands-on way to discover local craft.
It's also a good reason to explore Marvila, one of Lisbon's most creative neighbourhoods, with food and drinks available on site.
