The Deolinda project, launched in 2006, was a genuine revelation (even a revolution) in Portugal’s musical landscape, particularly in pop and folk.
Ana Bacalhau was the voice of this aesthetic and lyrical approach, largely unseen until then.
Pursuing a solo path since 2017, she has recently released Mundo Antena, an album that “dares to be both record and radio, music and spoken word, new and old”.
