Celebrating a decade since Cante Alentejano was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Serpa Town Hall / Cante Alentejano Museum will hold a unique concert in Lisbon, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, on 3 November 2024.

This show promises to be an exciting celebration of this musical tradition from Alentejo.

Serpa's 11 choral groups will take part, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra made up of the Philharmonic Band and guest musicians, providing an unforgettable journey through the melodies and harmonies that have echoed across the plains of the Alentejo for centuries. 

This concert is a unique opportunity to appreciate the diversity and cultural strength of this collective singing, which continues to be a living expression of the Alentejo soul to this day.
