Pupils from the 1st and 2nd cycles of the city’s schools come together for a day of celebration under the theme, “We Are Lisbon, We Are Europe”.

Created 30 years ago by the Lisbon City Council, the Children’s Parades bring schools and the city together in a project that runs over several months and encourages increased appreciation of traditions and heritage.

This milestone anniversary will also be marked by the launch of the book 30 anos das Marchas Infantis (30 Years of the Children’s Parades), on the 15th at 5:00 pm, at Quinta Pedagógica dos Olivais.
