Debaixo da Pele (Under the Skin)

Miguel Telles da Gama, author of the exhibition 'Debaixo da Pele', shows the visitors that, although (almost) everything has already been invented, there are still stories to be told.

Thus, he presents a new work, full of fragments from his earlier works. The artist wants to convey the message that there is still much to be said.

Starting from the images, the words and the colours, each work randomly brings together fragments of stories which never come to an end, among graphics and pictures or even film images; in these works, fragments are sometimes covered by words or by colour smudges which transform them or give them new meaning.
