The exhibition investigates, from a historical perspective, the way in which the creative imagination has been fed by the continual challenge from rational thought, as well as the way in which architects and artists of different ages understood rational systems in order to bring their visual, physical and mental universes to fruition.

Imagination is, therefore, the basic foundation for any work of architecture, from classic treatises to the Internet and videogames.
