Eva Claessens and Friends - With Love from Nature

Belgium-born, internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Eva Claessens is presenting a new show in Lisbon at the newly refurbished CRIATURA cultural venue, belonging to the Verride Palácio de Santa Catarina hotel.

The stone-clad, eighteenth-century vault-like space, with high ceilings and gorgeous white walls, will welcome an ensemble of Eva’s unique pieces that the artist has worked on over the last few months.

For this special show, Eva Claessens is also bringing a handful of close artist friends to be part of her universe in their own way – Julian Lennon, the English musician, photographer and philanthropist, being the guest of honor.

In Eva’s words, “Julian is my best friend, my partner in crime, and we create together as we breathe. Julian was my natural choice to share these beautiful walls with.” Eva is welcoming other artists and creative friends who will make brief appearances and site-specific connections in the show and leave a trace of their visit as if they were popping into her studio – as it often happens
