Details

For two days, five rooms will be filled with music, musicians, conversations and documentaries to celebrate the Portuguese Guitar Festival.

In this second edition, the Portuguese Guitar Festival pays tribute to a key performer of this unique instrument and one of its greatest exponents: guitarist and composer Armando Freire, the eternal Armandinho.

Based on different types of tickets, with schedules designed so that interested audiences can attend all concerts, each edition of the festival focuses on the enormous repertoire composed for soloists, but also on the versatility and reinvention of this instrument in different approaches and in dialogue with different instruments or musical genres.

The Portuguese Guitar Festival is the result of a partnership between Lisbon City Council, Lisboa Cultura | Museu do Fado and Ghude.
