French Film Festival

Lisboa once again hosts the French Film Festival, a great cinema celebration.

With 13 films being screened, this year’s French Film Festival (Festival do Cinema Francês, in Portuguese) is divided into two sections this year.

The “First Chance” section includes three new films: “The Girl With A Bracelet”, a drama in which a teenage girl stands trial accused of murdering her best friend; the comedy “Felicità”; and the documentary “Demain Est À Nous” about children struggling for a better future.

The “Second Chance” section includes ten films that were postponed in March, including Roman Polanski’s most recent work, “An Officer And A Spy”, “Portrait Of A Lady On Fire” and the documentary, “Woman”, in which women from all over the world shed light on what it is to be a woman.

From 8th to 21st October, at various venues across Lisboa, Almada and Oeiras. Tickets: from 3.20 euros.
