A refined, informed and comprehensive look at green spaces in today’s major cities, going far beyond the reality of gardens and so-called urban breathing zones.
Through drawing, the exhibition invites viewers to extend their gaze to woods, groves and forests: “which in our own inner world, foster the essential relationships that all living beings form with one another, near or far, within the plant world”, as the curator notes.
This show brings together (mostly) large-format works by Gabriela Albergaria, Catarina Leitão, Rui Vasconcelos, Pedro Calapez, Gil Amourous and Ilda David.
