The ‘Heroes of the Sea’ festival is a unique celebration in Portugal, dedicated to lovers of the sea and fish gastronomy.
Lisboa hosts a new festival that brings together national and international chefs, cooking classes, talks, demonstrations, and concerts.
It is called Heróis do Mar, in tribute to fishermen, and it offers the chance to taste various fish and seafood dishes at more affordable prices.
With the aim of showcasing the quality and diversity of traditional recipes, the festival also brings together chefs with Japanese, Mexican, and Peruvian influences, as well as those with influences from Portuguese-speaking countries such as Brazil.
Alongside the gastronomic moments, the space also features an area dedicated to wines from the Lisboa Region, with the presence of dozens of local producers, and a market with various products.
The concerts will be performed by artists such as Lura, Matias Damásio, GNR, and Mallu Magalhães.
