IndieLisboa - International Film Festival'22

The 19th edition of the International Film Festival is dedicated to the author of the phrase "When I die, I will be making movies in hell!", the North American director Doris Wishman (1912-2002).

With a career marked by bad reputation, demonstrating that her work represented something which images were not allowed to show, she was, therefore, an autodidact.

Doris Wishman outlined her career by herself and was, simultaneously, producer, director and editor in most of her movies.

This year, they are presented at Indie Lisboa as a retrospective of the artist's work.
