The new generation of MPB has in Liniker one of its most influential figures: first in Brazil but now with a global impact.
Born in Araraquara, São Paulo, the singer-songwriter and actress became, in 2022, the first trans Brazilian artist to win a Latin Grammy, with her debut solo album Indigo Borboleta Anil.
The following year she was invited to join the Brazilian Academy of Culture, taking the chair once held by Elza Soares — another legend, another myth, “another symbolic milestone in her legacy still in the making”.
Now in Lisboa, Liniker presents Caju: a full sensory experience providing a powerful dialogue with the audience.
