The exhibition ‘Luigi Ghirri.
Open Work’, by the Italian photographer Luigi Ghirri (1943-1992), presents about eighty pictures taken in the last twelve years of his short career and is the first showing by the Italian artist in Lisboa.

Ghirri dedicated himself, among other themes, to landscape photography as an allegorical field for exploring both the inner and the outer world around him.

His open interpretation of the concept marked the legacy he left as a manifest and, above all, as a way of doing photography and looking at the world.
