Morabeza LX 2026 returns to Lisbon on May 9 at Museu de Lisboa – Palácio Pimenta, with free entry.

This cultural event celebrates Cape Verdean identity and promotes connections between communities, strengthening the link between Cabo Verde, its diaspora, and the city of Lisbon.

The programme features live music, dance, traditional gastronomy, workshops, documentaries, talks, storytelling sessions, and the Kriolo market, showcasing products, crafts, and contemporary creations.

Highlights include performances by artists and groups connected to Cape Verdean music, as well as participatory activities inviting the public to engage with the culture of the islands.

Following the success of the 2025 edition, the festival returns on a larger scale, establishing itself as a space for celebration, exchange, and the promotion of cultural diversity in Lisbon.
