OPERAFEST LISBOA, the  “out of the box” opera festival is back in its 4th edition, under the moto “Between Heaven and Hell” with vibrating opera for all tastes!!

OPERAFEST LISBOA IS BACK WITH VIBRATING OPERA FOR EVERYONE!!!

After the success of its first editions Operafest Lisboa, considered one of the most “out of the box” European opera festivals, already a success in captivating new audiences, led by Soprano Catarina Molder and produced by Ópera do Castelo, is back to the dream-setting Garden of Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga Garden.

From 18 Aug to 9 Sep Lisboa will vibrate with opera for everyone under the moto “From Heaven to Hell” including the two most performed operas of all time “Carmen” by Bizet “ and Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”; in double bill emblematic Puccini's Suor Angelica with absolute premiere of “Rigor mortis” by young talented Francisco Lima da Silva, Maratona Opera XXI – contemporary opera
competition highlighting emerging singing talent to perform the opera of today, the launch of Cine-Opera Cycle crossing opera and cinema, evoking the great Maria Callas, “Lyric Machine” providing singing lessons to curious amateurs, “Occult Forces” Performance and much more, closing with Operafest’s unique divine and evil operatic rave “From Heaven to Hell” blending the world of pop and opera!
