BETWEEN WHAT WE INHERIT AND WHAT WE CREATE

From 7 to 31 January 2027, the lobby of NH Sintra Centro hosts “Origens em Movimento / Origins in Motion”, an art exhibition organised by Afrika Infinity and Ninoiarte.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between heritage, memory and contemporary creation, bringing together two distinct yet complementary perspectives:

Afrika Infinity presents African Ethnographic Art, focusing on heritage, memory, symbolism and cultural continuity.

Ninoiarte presents Contemporary Art by African artists and artists connected to Africa, showcasing different visual languages, experiences and forms of contemporary creation.

By bringing these two dimensions together, “Origins in Motion” invites visitors to discover art as a living reality — inherited, preserved, reinterpreted and continuously transformed.

Public access begins: 7 January at 3:00 pm
After opening, the exhibition may be visited 24 hours a day until 31 January.
Venue: NH Sintra Centro lobby, Sintra, Portugal
Free admission. No ticket is required.
The exhibition space is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
