This first Parques de Sintra piano cycle is structured around the "founding" legacy of the great musician and pianist Viana da Mota (1868-1948) and his strong connection to Sintra and Colares.
The cycle will take place over the first two weekends of July, with the recitals taking place at dusk, at 7pm, in true "communion" with the surrounding heritage, in historic and intensely lived-in rooms, also musically, above all intimate and with great acoustic quality - the Swan Room, in the National Palace of Sintra, and the Throne Room, in the National Palace of Queluz - which will surely accentuate a (dreamy) summer evening atmosphere!
