This is one of these events that can only be seen to be believed.
Before the great festivity on the night of 12th june, the 23 marches will perform at the Meo Arena to be evaluated by a panel of judges who then pick the best one on the night.

Then, on 12th June, thousands of people will come together on Avenida da Liberdade to watch live the marches, sharing the traditions of their neighbourhoods and performing dance routines and singing songs.

This is an old tradition that is renewed every year.
